2017 Achievements by Current and Past Students of the School


Alexandra Bailey: Auckland Academy of Dance vocational seminar incentive award, July 2017.
Jadyn Bagayas: Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018. Accepted to the School of Alberta Ballet summer school 2017.
Leo Brunton: Finalist for the Sir John Logan Campbell Trust Ballet Awards. Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018.
Hazel Couper: Alana Haines junior quarter finalist 2017.
Elliot Gordon: New Zealand School of Dance scholar 2017. Alana Haines semi-finalist 2017. Accepted to New Zealand School of Dance junior associates 2018.
Katherine Horner: Successfully auditioned and accepted to ABT summer intensive programme. Attending Melbourne City Ballet finishing year 2018.
Monet Galea-Hewitt: Placed 2nd in the Alana Haines Supreme A, and was awarded a two-week scholarship to the Australian Ballet School 2018.  Winner Waitakere Performing Arts Society Auckland Senior Variation and won a scholarship to attend the Los Angeles Ballet Academy for four weeks. Placed 2nd in the Sir John Logan Campbell Trust Ballet Awards. Offered a scholarship and direct placement into Alberta School of Ballet 2017. Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018. Re-accepted to NZ School of Dance Associates programme for 2018.
Steffanie Kobayashi-Cox: Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018
Joanna Li: Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018
Cynthia Son: Nominated for NZAMD scholarship 2018
